Donna M. Sommars
Donna M. Sommars is a 1986 graduate of St. Louis University School of
Law and engages exclusively in the representation of creditors in
bankruptcy, foreclosure and collection cases. Prior to the opening of
Sommars & Associates, LLC on January 1, 2007, Donna had been a
member of the firm of Sommars & Bertsch, LLC from its inception in
January 1995. Prior to that Donna was head of the Bankruptcy Department
at Kramer & Frank, PC.
Ms. Sommars is a member of the Missouri Bar, the Illinois Bar, the Bar
Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL), the Illinois Bar Association,
the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI), the National Association of
Chapter 13 Trustees (NACTT), the National Association of Retail Collection
Attorneys (NARCA), and the Bankruptcy Association of Southern Illinois
(BASIL). Donna has served as co-chairperson of the BAMSL Bankruptcy
Committee and the BAMSL Business Section.
Ms. Sommars has been a guest speaker for the National Business Institute,
the Missouri Bar, and the BAMSL Bankruptcy Committee on various topics
in commercial and consumer bankruptcy.
Sommars & Associates, LLC represents the interest of creditors in
bankruptcy cases as well as foreclosures and collections in Missouri and
Illinois.
